1、既可用可数名词，也可用作不可数名词。

一般说来，表示抽象意义的“祝贺”时，为不可数名词。如：It is a matter for congratulation. 这是一件可喜可贺的事。

2、表示因为某事而表示祝贺，其后接介词on，不用for。如：Congratulations on passing your exam. 祝贺你通过了考试。
